Lateefah Simpson is a Children's Book Author with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Nyack College. Currently Lateefah is the Assistant Director of a preschool in her native Rockland County. Her first book Nyle the Crocodile and Glover the Plover, explores the unique relationship between the Nile River crocodile and the Egyptian Plover bird!

She loves chocolate, Wonder Woman, owls and watches Jeopardy religiously! Lateefah also enjoys hiking, writing poetry, photography and visiting museums with her family.

Lateefah lives in New York's Lower-Hudson Valley with her husband, daughter and son.
